Gas Generator Set-Biomass Gas Generator Set

The biomass gas generator set is using biomass gas for fuel. The biomass gas is coming from the redox reaction of biomass such as straw, rice hull, sawdust, bush, shuck and so on in a producer. The main combustible components of straw gas are CO (carbon monooxide), H2 (hydrogen), and a small quantity of CH4 (methane) etc., thereinto, CO content is usually in 10% 18% about, H2 content in 3% 9% about, CH4 content in 1.5% 2.1% about, and CnHm content in 0.2% 0.6%about. in general, there are a large quantity of tar oil, moisture, and a certain of ash content. The tar oil, moisture, and ash content are very harmful for gas engine operation. Therefore, the biomass gas must be pretreated strictly before it goes into the generator set of fuel gas.
